Wellington Crescent

Wellington Crescent sits along the south shore of the Assiniboine River, extending to Academy Rd. It is bordered by the railroad tracks west of Lindsay St, and the Maryland Bridge to the east.

There are two city parks along the Assiniboine River:

• The eastern portion of Sir John Franklin Park sits along the north side of Wellington Cres, just west of Lindsay St. The park features an open area, a garden, and pathways leading to a footbridge crossing the Assiniboine River into Omand Park.
• Maryland Bridge Park sits on the southwest corner of the Maryland Twin Bridge, at Wellington Cres and Academy Rd. The park features an open area, a monument to the bridge, and a view of the Assiniboine River.
